At the end of November, Adityaji and Gaurav told me to join the Ananda Yoga Teacher training course starting in the first week of December. I wanted to join but did not know how I will stay into that training.

Training began with Nayaswami Bhajanaji. Each day there was a new upliftment. The way the Ananda Yoga Teacher training is taught, their presentation, and especially the very deep calmness and clarity made us feel completely happy and closer to our Guru, Paramhansa Yogananda. The affirmations of each asana really helped me to open mental qualities and be strong, centered and Joyful.

Each module of the training brought a lot of clarity and awareness about our human body analogy and Patanjali’s Ashtanga Yoga.

Practice GroupWe finished our training in February and soon started taking classes. Even if there was only one student, it was our Joy to share with them how each of the Ananda Yoga Asanas and Pranayama techniques are unique. We also did group practice at each other’s houses, it helped in bringing our energies together, learning from each other. It moved me a lot when I saw each one being so devoted and wanting to put their willingness into these teachings.

I learned more when sharing started, especially to tune into the needs of the other person. My way was just to prepare and then present, but gradually I learned how important it is to meditate before a class at the venue, to be able to tune into the students’ realty.

We then moved to our new center in July 2017 and a new opportunity came to expand our classes as well as our teachers team. At the end of 2017, we got the chance to follow the Advanced Asanas Teacher training and Restorative Yoga Teacher training. The journey of these classes opened a new potential within us. I really did not know my body was able to go into such advanced asanas. My posture improved a lot and my awareness of my surroundings started improving.

I am really grateful to our Masters and our Acharyas who bring deep blessings of the Masters to us. Ananda Yoga changed my life completely. It also helped me go deeper into meditations and be energetic the whole day.
